News › St Petersburg cruise season has started

Summer 2016 cruise season was officially opened on May 2nd in St Petersburg Passangeer Port. On this day Costa Pacifica cruise ship with 2837 passengers on its' board embarked St Petersburg port. This was the first of total seven Costa Pacifica visits this year. Since 2011 this ship has already docked in St Petersburg 21 times. Now Costa Pacifica is doing its' 12-day April 28 - May 9 round cruise from Kiel.

Next cruise visits are expected on May 8th with three newcommers: Celebrity Silhouette, Regal Princess, AIDAcara - none of them were in St Petersburg before. Cruise navigation will be over on October 19th with Marco Polo Global Cruises visit.

Most often St Petersburg port will be visited by Carnival Corporation cruiseships - 102 times, Royal Caribbean International - 30 visits, as well as MSC Cruises - 17 times.

2016 cruise navigation in St Petersburg will host 232 ships with more than 497 000 passengers on them, which is 3% up from last year.
