ReviewsOne of the best tour ever

When I started to check tour operators for St Petersburg, my main criterias were service and honesty. I choose MaxiBalt over others because he is a small operator and that reviews on TripAdvisor were all positive with no negative compared to others.

We (Alexei- the owner) and I, had multiple emails over a very short period. Alexei answered very rapidly all my concerns to my entire satisfaction.

We came ashore (from Royal Princess) at 8h10 and Alexei was waiting for us. He advised us that we were only two for his tour , but we would be coupled with 4 other guests from an other tour operator so to share the guide. I saw no problem with this situation. Alexei really care for his customers. Indeed as I was thirsty, beeing a gentleman, he paid me a soda from the soda machine. This is what I call service. He stayed with us until the other customers arrived. He then presented us our guide: Marianna (her English is excellent).

We then hopped in a big van (good for 16 people) and started our tour, with our chauffeur named Aleksei. We saw all that was on the program. Marianna was charming and very knowledgeable and answered all questions (we skipped politics as this subject was a bit touchy because of the Ukrainian situation). Alexei had mentionned that our boat tour would be private. And indeed it was - 6 people on a boat capable of sitting more that hundred of people. What an experience.

On certain sites, Marianna was able to get us in by bypassing the long queue- this was very much appeciated especially that the outside temperature was 30oC and very humid.
Overall, I am entirely satisfied with the services rendered by MaxiBalt and I fully recommend him.

One of the best tour ever.
