Alex turned out to be a total joy and always pleased us with his knowledge of both our language (English) and those sites we chose to concentrate on. He always arrived on time with his charming smile.

Whenever we asked for some special favors, he managed to supply them; when we realized that we would have to leave the hotel before they served breakfast to catch our return flight, Alex managed to have rather large sack breakfasts ready for us.

He also set us up with a very well informed museum guide to point out our special interests.

Alex was very flexible and concerned that we have a good experience. When some of our group wanted to go their own way after the second museum, Alex volunteered to stay with the rest of us as long as we wanted, and when we were ready to leave, he also helped us to make one more shopping stop at the open air market and still got us to the Metro (Underground) before the doors closed.

He reserved restaurant tables for us, and was always helpful, in spite of his third daughter who was born just before our arrival!

I greatly enjoyed the tour and accommodations and all arrangements provided by Alex at MaxiBaltTours. Would definitely use them again. The tour guide he provided (Irina) for the Hermitage and Cathedral on Spilled Blood was very knowledgeable-- a wonderful guide!
