My name is Alin and I am from Romania, I have recently came back from a cruise to the Baltic countries a 12 day cruise that was amazing. Among the ports of call we had St Petersburg Russia, this was a main attraction for us because me and my wife and another couple of friends chose this cruise route mainly for this city. 

As you may know or should know as a cruise passenger you can not get off the ship in Russia unless you have a visa or a booked tour. As we did not wanted to struggle to get a visa we have decided to book a tour, and needless to say that the tours offered by the cruise line are very expensive the cheapest ones are from local tour companies. We are a group of normal people that want to see as much as you can and pay a fear fare. Looking on the internet I came across MaxiBaltTours a local tour operator, the first thing that I noticed was the great price for the two day tour that we were looking for. Alexei the tour operator manager was very prompt in responding to my e-mails and giving me the right answers. He was so flexible and accommodating with the program that we decided to book with him.

The booking process was easy and fast you go on line and with a credit card you do it all. We were kind of nervous about the tour because our vacation depended on a person that I have never seen in my life but once we got out from the ship Alexei an Olga met us at the cruise terminal and off we went for an incredible adventure. All our concerns were eliminated by the friendliness and positive attitude of these people. We had a two day tour that included all the main attractions from St Pуteresburg and more a night cruise on the Neva river that fascinated me and made me say I want to come back here. The tours were very interactive and Olga our guide was so knowledgeable about all the attractions, Alexei and Olga they both spoke perfect Уnglish and made us feel so VIP as the tour went on there was us on a bus instead of all the people that crowded on a big bus. The personal touch was there.

We had a great time beside the tour with our guides at lunch we had lunch in two nice places where we experienced the Russian cuisine and the Russian vodka of course.

In conclusion I would like to finish this story by saying that MaxiBaltTours was an excellent choice cheap good quality and high service. Thank you Alexei for all that you have done for us you have made our experience in St Petersburg amazing and most of all out of an intimidating thought about this tours and country you guys gave us an amazing tour and more.
