"We had an absolutely wonderful time in Moscow. This was our first time to book a trip outside of the cruise line. They usually coerce you into booking with them by frightening you with the possibility of missing your ship or safety concerns. We were met at the ship by Alexei in St. Petersburg, driven to the train station, walked onto the bullet train and there we had a forward facing seat with a table.

Our city guide, Elena met us in Moscow as soon as we disembarked. We saw so many places and learned so much from Elena. It was a surreal day for me to be in my #1 travel bucket list place and to have the ultimate day. Elena saw to it that we were comfortably situated on our return train (which by the way was a fabulous train & professional crew).

When we arrived in St. Petersburg, Alexei was there when we disembarked and took us back to the ship, telling us more about St. Petersburg on our way.

Our friends booked the ships excursion and when we made the comparisons, we definitely had the best time. My only regret was that I had already booked a tour through the cruise lines for the next day and I would have loved to have taken a MaxiBaltTours instead.
