Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why do you operate private and small group tours only?
2. What are your payment and cancellation policies?
3. We are a group of families with kids of different ages. How will this affect the total cost of the tour?
4. We have heard that getting off the ship is a problem because the Russian Passport Control Officers only let passengers who have bought tours aboard the cruise-ship off first. Will this affect us?
5. We have concerns about return time to the ship. Is this guaranteed?
6. We have been looking at the prices offered for shore tours in Saint Petersburg and have found that you offer some of the best deals. We are a bit concerned that this means that we will get a lower quality of service.
7. Why do most of your private tours start at 9 am while the cruiselines start with their excursions much earlier. We are only 2 or 3 days in St. Petersburg and want to see as much as possible.
8. I'm anxious about the Russian Visa. Is it true that I do not need it? Will I have any problems if I'm stopped by a police officer in the city?
9. Can I pay for the tour ticket only and then wander around on my own? I am an independent traveller and prefer to do my own things without a guide!
10. Why are meals not included in your private tours? Will we have time for lunch?
11. Why is an evening program not included in your private tours? What can we do in the evening? Russia is so famous for ballet or Cossack-dancing, we don't want to miss anything!
12. We have looked through your itineraries and would like to incorporate something else. Can you change the itinerary for our party?
13. What are your conditions for discounts? How can we get a special offer?
